Design that

moves people.

Making the user journey smoother than the stakeholder meeting that approved it.

Group of happy people partying together, having a great time, celebrating New Year

I make the complex feel obvious.

Hi, I’m Whitney, a product designer passionate about creating thoughtful, intuitive experiences that connect people with products in meaningful ways. I believe great design lives at the intersection of empathy, strategy, and creativity, where user needs and business goals come together seamlessly.

With experience designing user-centered digital experiences, I enjoy transforming complex problems into elegant, accessible solutions. My approach combines research, collaboration, and a keen eye for detail to create products that not only function beautifully but also feel effortless to use.

I’m naturally curious, always asking questions, exploring new perspectives, and advocating for the people behind the screens. Whether I’m mapping user journeys, refining interactions, or collaborating with cross-functional teams, I bring both analytical thinking and creative energy to every project.

Outside of design, I love experiencing new things with my fiancé, whether that’s discovering a new restaurant or cocktail bar, catching a concert, or attending events around the city. While I regularly insist that a lazy weekend is exactly what I want, our calendars rarely seem to get the memo.

TL;DR: I design with intention, solve with curiosity, and am desperately in need of a lazy weekend.

  • "Having spent the last 2.5+ years working closely alongside Whitney, I’ve seen firsthand why she is the partner every product team wants. She is one of the most reliable, structured, and collaborative UX professionals I’ve had the honor of working with. Whitney’s background in Supply Chain proved invaluable to our Store Order Fulfillment space as we worked to elevate our Deliver-from-Store experience. Even in a highly fast-paced environment with at times urgent, ad-hoc requests, Whitney never misses a beat. She approaches every hurdle with a rare blend of creative problem-solving and meticulous organization. Beyond her individual contributions, Whitney is a kind and generous teammate you can rely on in any situation. She’s the first to celebrate a team win and champion the achievements we often get too caught up in the daily sprint to notice. Her appreciation for the team kept us grounded and motivated, even during the most demanding project pushes. Any organization looking for a committed, sharp, and forward-thinking designer would be incredibly fortunate to have her."

  • "I had the opportunity to work closely with Whitney Lancaster on Supply Chain products, including conducting field research together in our DFCs. Whitney is one of those rare people who can quickly build trust with anyone she meets, whether it's an associate on the floor, a stakeholder, or a teammate. People open up to her because she genuinely listens and cares about understanding their reality. What I admire most about Whitney is that she sees beyond feature requests. While many people focus on the solution being asked for, Whitney has an incredible ability to uncover the underlying problem that needs to be solved. She consistently looks past the immediate ask to understand the operational context, business goals, and human needs driving it. She's also exceptionally smart and able to absorb complex information with remarkable speed. Whether we're discussing intricate supply chain processes or synthesizing research findings, Whitney quickly identifies patterns, connects dots, and helps teams focus on what truly matters. The combination of her empathy, analytical thinking, and systems perspective makes her an outstanding partner. She doesn't just help teams build features. She helps them solve the right problems. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her and would recommend her without hesitation."
